Pj Bupati Langkat H. M. Faisal Hasrimy, AP., M. AP terima Paritrana Award 2024 pada Perayaan Festival MayDay 2024 Sumut Hebat & Job Fair yang diselenggarakan Disnaker Provinsi Sumatera Utara, bertempat di Gedung serba guna Jl. William Iskandar, Rabu (8/5/2024).
Kabupaten Langkat mendapatkan Piagam penghargaan juara III Kategori Pemerintah Kabupaten/Kota Penghargaan Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan (Paritrana Award) Tahun 2024 Tingkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
Pj Bupati Langkat hadir pada Kegiatan tersebut didampingi Kadis Perindag Ikhsan Aprija, Kadisnaker Rajanami dan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Langkat.
Kegiatan ini berlangsung dua hari mulai Selasa-Rabu 7 s/d 8 Mei 2024 dengan mengangkat tema ” Kerja bersama pekerja buruh yang kompeten”.
Job Fair pada festival MayDay 2024 Sumut ini diikuti 40 perusahaan baik dari kesehatan, perkebunan, industri dan lainnya dengan 150 posisi jabatan dan 600 penerimaan karyawan.
Selanjutnya pernyataan sikap serikat pekerja dari seluruh ketua Serikat buruh Sumatera Utara dan diserahkan kepada Pj Gubernur Sumatera Utara Hassanudin, sekaligus pemberian penghargaan kepada tokoh buruh, tokoh pemerintahan.
Pj Gubernur Sumatera Utara Hassanudin dalam pidatonya menyampaikan bahwa buruh adalah pahlawan negara.
“Dimana buruh menjadi garda terdepan dalam meningkatkan perekonomian bangsa” katanya.
Diakhir pidatonya, Pj Gubernur Sumatera Utara bersama pemprov Sumut berkomitmen untuk memperjuangkan hak dan kewajiban buruh.
“Pemerintah selalu bertanggungjawab atas hukum, hak hak pekerja, perlindungan kesehatan dan keselamatan serta kesejahteraan pekerja” kata Hassanudin.
“Pemerintah Sumut juga selalu berupaya untuk mensejahterakan buruh dengan menaikkan UMP dan UMK secara berkala dan memikirkan jaminan masa tua serta jaminan kesehatan” tambahnya.(yg).
