Seorang pria berinisial N (44) warga Jalan Hoki, Kelurahan Timbang Langkat, Kecamatan Binjai Timur, diamankan Satnarkoba Polres Binjai, karena menguasai narkotika jenis Sabu Sabu, Senin (17/7).

Walau sebelumnya sempat berusaha melarikan diri, namun pelaku akhirnya berhasil diamankan polisi di Jalan Gajah Mada, Kelurahan Tunggurono, Kecamatan Binjai Timur.
Penangkapan pelaku berawal adanya informasi dari masyarakat dan segera ditindaklanjuti oleh Kasat Narkoba Polres Binjai AKP Irvan Rinaldi Pane.
Ia pun langsung memerintahkan jajarannya untuk melakukan penyelidikan di TKP sesuai informasi awal.
Sesampainya di TKP yang dimaksud, tepatnya di Jalan Gajah Mada, Kelurahan Tunggorono, Kecamatan Binjai Timur, tim pun berbagi tugas. Tak berselang lama, tim menemukan ciri ciri pria sesuai informasi awal.
“Pada saat tim mendekatinya, terduga pelaku sempat melarikan diri. Namun berkat kesigapan petugas dapat mengamankan terguda sebagai bandar narkoba,” ungkap Kasi Humas Polres Binjai Iptu Riswansyah, saat dikonfirmasi awak media, Rabu (19/7).
Berdasarkan interogasi awal yang dilakukan petugas, pelaku pun akhirnya mengakui memperoleh narkotika jenis Sabu Sabu dari rekannya seorang pria dengan inisial W.
“Pengejaran pun dilakukan tim terhadap W. Namun sayang, kehadiran petugas ternyata sudah terlebih dahulu terendus W, sehingga ia melarikan diri,” tegas Iptu Riswansyah.
Beberapa barang bukti pun berhasil diamankan petugas, diantaranya 1 paket klip Narkotika jenis Sabu Sabu dengan berat 5,25 gram, 4 paket klip narkotika jenis Sabu Sabu seberat 1,92 gram yang terbungkus dengan tissue, 1 unit Sepeda Motor jenis Honda Scoopy nopol BK 3706 AKM, serta 1 unit HP merk REDMI.
“Pelaku dijerat dengan Pasal 114 ayat ( 2 ) subs 112 ayat ( 2 ) UU NO.35 tahun 2009 tentang narkotika, dengan ancaman hukuman 15 tahun kurungan,” ujar Kasat Narkoba Polres Binjai AKP Irvan Rinaldi Pane, saat dikonfirmasi awak media terkait pasal yang disangkakan terhadap pelaku. (Tra)
