Kecelakaan maut terjadi diperlintasan kereta api tanpa palang pintu perlintasan yang berada di jalan Marah Rusli Kelurahan Selawan Kecamatan Kota Kisaran Timur antara Kereta Api (KA) penumpang Sri Bilah jurusan Rantau Prapat-Medan dengan mini bus Nissan Juke,Selasa (18/07/2023) sekitar Jam 10.00 WIB.
Dalam musibah tersebut satu diantara dua penumpang mini bus dikabar meninggal di tempat kejadian dan seorang lainnya sampai saat ini mengalami kritis.Kedua korban berprofesi sebagai dokter.
Indra seorang saksi mata mengkonpirmasi, peristiwa ini bermula saat mini bus BK 1747 RA, yang dinaiki oleh kedua korban datang dari arah Kisaran Asahan menuju arah Mutiara. Saat tiba di perlintasan kereta api tanpa plang papan pengaman, mobil langsung ditabrak Kereta Api dari jurusan Rantau Prapat – Medan.
Kasatlantas Polres Asahan AKP Galih Hariomursyid kepada wartawan di lokasi mengatakan dalam peristiwa itu dua orang yang jadi korban salah satunya selamat dan telah di bawa ke rumah sakit.
“Ada dua korban, satunya meninggal, satu selamat masih di rawat di rumah sakit yang baru kita evakuasi bersama masyarakat karena posisinya terjepit.identitas kedua korban yang berjenis kelamin perempuan.Korban ini diduga tidak mendengar dari dalam mobilnya ada kereta api yang lewat, sementara di lokasi perlintasan ini memang tidak ada palang pintu,” kata Galih.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Asahan dr Nanang yang mendapat kabar kepada wartawan membenarkan , ada dokter yang bertugas di Puskesmas Meranti, bernama dokter Sinta meninggal dunia akibat tabrakan dengan Kereta Api, dan seorang dokter lainnya masih dirawat di salah satu rumah sakit.
Ia mengatakan bahwa salah satu korban yang masih kritis adalah seorang dokter hewan, dan masih mencari tau ada keperluan apa kedua dokter ini. “Saya lagi mencari informasi kepada Kepala Puskesmas Meranti apa keperluan kedua korban, apakah saat tugas ke Puskesmas atau ada hal lain,” jelas dr.Nanang dan menyerahkan proses selanjutnya kepada pihak Kepolisian (Sy/DP)
