Pihak Kecamatan Sei Bingai, Kabupaten Langkat, sudah berulang kali menyampaikan usulan perbaikan untuk Jembatan Namu Ukur, yang merupakan penghubung antara Kota Binjai dan Kabupaten Langkat.
Bahkan, perbaikan sudah masuk dalam musyawarah rencana pembangunan (musrenbang).
Hal tersebut dikatakan Sekretaris Kecamatan (Sekcam) Sei Bingai, Tuahta Gurusinga, Selasa (4/7) saat dikonfirmasi awak media terkait kondisi rusaknya Jembatan Namu Ukur, hingga akhirnya kerap memakan korban.
Tuahta juga membenarkan adanya peristiwa pengendara motor yang merupakan ibu dan anak, terjun ke bawah dari lubang yang menganga pada jembatan tersebut.
“Memang benar ada peristiwa itu pas lagi macet. Mungkin ibu itu gugup,” ucap Tuahta.
Diakui Tuahta Gurusinga, perbaikan Jembatan tersebut merupakan tanggung jawab pihak Provinsi, bukan Pemkab Langkat.
“Namun kami sudah usulkan ke Pemkab berulang kali untuk diperbaiki,” ujarnya, seraya mengatakan jika dirinya sedang mengikuti kegiatan reses anggota DPR RI.
“Sebab pak camat ada rapat di Stabat,” kata Sekretaris Kecamatan Sei Bingai, Tuahta Gurusinga.
Setelah perangkat Kecamatan mengusulkan, lanjut Tuahta, Pemkab Langkat yang harus menekan kepada Pemprov Sumut, agar segera diperbaiki.
Terpisah, Kapolsek Sei Bingai, AKP Japaris Perangin-angin menjelaskan, pihaknya sudah melakukan evakuasi terhadap korban ke Puskesmas Namu Ukur, kemudian dirujuk ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Djoelham Binjai.
“Korban merupakan ibu dan anak yang mengendarai sepeda motor. Ibunya yang mengalami luka parah, sementara anaknya hanya mengalami luka ringan,” tegas AKP Japaris.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan AKP Japaris Perangin-Angin, untuk ibunya mengalami luka pada rahang bagian bawah patah, tangan kiri terkilir, hidung mengeluarkan darah dan luka gores pada bagian wajah. Sementara si anak mengalami luka ringan.
“Sebelum kejadian memang ada dilakukan pengaturan lalu lintas tersebut karena jalan pada jembatan itu sudah dalam keadaan berlubang.
Namun korban memaksakan diri untuk masuk ke arah yang tidak semestinya sehingga ban depan sepeda motornya masuk ke lubang dan korban jatuh ke bawah sungai,” tegas Japaris.
Diketahui, karena tidak kunjung diperbaiki, Jembatan Namu Ukur di Kecamatan Sei Bingai, Kabupaten Langkat, atau jembatan yang menghubungkan Kota Binjai dan Kabupaten Langkat, akhirnya memakan korban.
Pasalnya, seorang ibu dan anaknya yang tengah melintas di Jembatan Namu Ukur tersebut, terjatuh pada lubang yang menganga, Selasa (4/7).
Lubang besar yang menganga hanya ditutup pakai batu dengan penahan besi pada bagian bawahnya.
Korban pun terjun bebas ke bawah yang banyak bebatuan. Adapun korban yakni, Anggi Puspa Sari (40) selaku ibu dan anaknya berinisial AP (9) warga Kampung Kolam, Desa Mekar Jaya, Kecamatan Sei Bingai, Kabupaten Langkat.
Menurut informasi dari masyarakat sekitar, Jembatan Namu Ukur sudah dalam keadaan rusak berat dan parah sejak tahun 2020 lalu. Sejak saat itu, perbaikan tak dilakukan hingga akhirnya memakan korban. (Tra)
